Tighe Logistics, the 3PL leader in Boston and New England, announces footprint, technology and talent expansions to better service logistics customers.
BOSTON, MA, MA, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Tighe Logistics, the 3PL leader in the Greater Boston area and New England, is building significant momentum in 2026, expanding its physical footprint, advancing its technology infrastructure and adding experienced talent to strengthen the logistics solutions it delivers to customers. Our 2026 investments are designed to give customers more capacity, greater visibility, stronger technology integration and an even deeper bench of logistics expertise.
“Our momentum in 2026 is a reflection of where Tighe is headed as the leading 3PL in Greater Boston and New England,” said Bob Willert, CEO at Tighe Logistics. “We’re not simply adding buildings, trucks, technology or people. We’re investing in the infrastructure and capabilities that allow us to solve more complex logistics challenges for our customers and support them as they grow.”
STRENGTHENING TIGHE’S BOSTON 3PL FOOTPRINT
Tighe’s position as a leading New England 3PL is built in part on its ability to combine warehousing and transportation resources across a strategically located network. In 2026, that network grew substantially with the opening of a new 233,000-square-foot facility in Dedham, Massachusetts. Tighe also expanded its long-term commitment to its Winchester, Massachusetts operation, securing a long-term lease for 60,000 square feet of warehouse space. Winchester’s proximity to Tighe’s headquarters creates opportunities to better coordinate personnel, fleet resources, management and other operational functions across the company’s network.
The company’s transportation footprint is growing as well. Tighe has expanded its professional driver pool to 35 drivers and increased its truck assets to 33.
Rather than relying solely on third-party capacity, Tighe can bring its own facilities, fleet and people together to design and execute integrated logistics solutions.
TECHNOLOGY RAISES THE STANDARD FOR NEW ENGLAND 3PL SERVICE
Tighe has also made significant advancements in its transportation management systems to improve transportation planning, fleet visibility, tracking and operational execution.
In an increasingly data-driven logistics environment, Tighe has expanded its customer reporting capabilities with the addition of two data analysts, who work directly with customer operations to track service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and other customized operational metrics. Tighe is increasing the depth of information available to help customers understand performance, identify trends and make better decisions.
Through expanded EDI capabilities and integrations with customer platforms, Tighe is increasingly able to connect its operations directly to the systems customers already rely on to run their businesses.
“Our technology investments are about making the operation more dependable, connected and scalable,” said Thomas Webb, IT Director at Tighe Logistics. “We’re identifying the gaps in our systems, addressing bugs at their root and putting permanent solutions in place. That gives our teams better tools and gives our customers a more reliable technology experience.”
Webb has played a central role in accelerating the maturity of Tighe’s technology environment, driving permanent solutions that strengthen the company’s infrastructure.
THE TALENT BEHIND HIGH-PERFORMANCE LOGISTICS
In July of 2026, Tighe reached a major milestone, hiring its 200th employee. The company has added highly skilled and experienced dispatchers to its transportation organization, strengthening the day-to-day management of customer deliveries to create smoother delivery flows, faster responses to exceptions and more effective coordination between customers, drivers, facilities and transportation resources.
Tighe has also added strategic talent to support the company’s growth with the addition of Scott Cook, Vice President of Business Development, who will lead growth and development from initial customer inqury through successful onboarding.
MOMENTUM THAT STRENGTHENS RESULTS FOR CUSTOMERS
These investments strengthen what has made Tighe a leader in the New England 3PL market: the ability to bring warehousing, transportation, technology and experienced people together under one 3PL partner.
“Tighe has been serving businesses for generations, and we’ve built our reputation by staying close to our customers and continuously improving how we serve them,” says Willert. “The investments we’re making in 2026 are the next chapter of that commitment, delivering for customers today and wherever their businesses go next.”
