Markus Klinko is a Swiss-born artist whose work explores glamour, mythology, and the construction of cultural icons. Drawing from cinema, music, fashion and popular culture, his photographs transform familiar figures into heightened symbols of power, identity, and desire.

Trained as a classical harp soloist at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Klinko recorded for EMI Classics, received the Grand Prix du Disque, and performed internationally before a hand injury ended his musical career in 1994.
