Expereo, a leading Managed Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider, today set out the next phase of growth for its established US business, where it already gives US-headquartered enterprises a single partner for their networks at home and across every international market they operate in. Supporting that strategy, the company has appointed Margi Shaw as Independent Chair, Americas.
US enterprises running international operations typically assemble connectivity from several providers, each with its own contracts, service levels and support model. Expereo replaces that complexity with a single managed service and already does so for some of the world’s largest US-headquartered organizations.
That capability rests on genuine global reach. Expereo delivers and manages connectivity in more than 190 countries, including high-growth markets for US businesses in Asia-Pacific, Latin America and EMEA. For a US business looking to open, scale or consolidate sites, that means one partner, one operating model and consistent performance wherever the network extends.
Expereo is deepening its investment in US technology advisors and partners, giving them a global networking proposition they can take into enterprise accounts without stitching together local suppliers.
Shaw’s appointment strengthens that agenda. As Independent Chair, Americas, she will advise the leadership team on regional strategy, channel go-to-market and partner engagement across North and South America.
Shaw brings leadership experience across telecommunications, network services and enterprise technology. Most recently she was CEO of Nitel, the US managed services provider, where she led enterprise strategy, P&L and the growth agenda, delivering double-digit revenue and EBITDA growth. Following Nitel’s acquisition by Comcast Business in April 2025, she joined the Comcast Business Senior Leadership Team and led the integration of Nitel’s people, go-to-market operations and systems architecture. Earlier in her career she held senior positions at First Communications, CIMCO Communications and ICG Communications.
Ben Elms, CEO of Expereo, says: “US enterprises don’t want to manage multiple carrier relationships to run a global business. Our US team has demonstrated over the past 16 years how we remove complexity to deliver and manage connectivity for some of the world’s largest US enterprises. Our growth strategy in the US continues with investment in growing our existing business while creating a much closer partnership with the US channel. Margi’s appointment is a clear signal of that ambition. Her experience and credibility across the US technology and channel ecosystem will help us sharpen our market approach and strengthen the partner relationships that will carry it.”
Margi Shaw, Independent Chair, Americas at Expereo, adds: “The gap I have seen repeatedly in this market is a provider that is genuinely strong domestically and genuinely global. Most are one or the other, and enterprises end up absorbing the difference themselves. Expereo is already both, with the global reach, service capability and enterprise experience to support US organizations at home while removing the complexity of connecting and operating across international markets. The opportunity now is to make that value proposition far more visible in the US, and to use the channel to take it to market at scale. I am looking forward to helping the business build the next phase of its growth across the Americas.”
