Chronilogix, the AI behavioral wellness and coaching company, today announced the integration of Hibiscus Health’s non-invasive biometric facial scan across its entire AI coaching platform: RONI, its coach for diabetes and chronic conditions; Millie, its mental health coach; and Renata, its coach tailored specifically for Hispanic and Latino communities.

The integration lets members complete a 30-second scan using an ordinary smartphone camera, with no app to download, no appointment and no blood draw. The results flow directly into each coach’s intake assessment.

Until now, most digital health assessments have relied on one of two inputs: what a person reports about themselves, or what a lab or clinic measures. Each alone leaves gaps. Self-reported answers reflect how a person feels, and what they are ready to change – but can miss risks they are not aware of. Clinical measurements are objective, but they require an appointment, a blood draw, and time — the very barriers that keep many people from engaging at all.

This integration closes that gap by combining both inputs. Hibiscus Health’s technology analyzes subtle changes in facial blood flow captured by a phone camera to estimate key cardiometabolic markers, including blood pressure, HbA1c, cholesterol, and triglycerides. Each Chronilogix coach then weighs those readings alongside the member’s own behavioral assessment survey responses about their habits, goals, stressors, and readiness for change.

The result is an output that is both evidence-based and personal, and each coach applies it to its own mission. RONI can see that a member’s scan suggests an elevated HbA1c while their answers reveal irregular meals and low confidence about changing them, then shape a chronic-condition plan around what that member is ready to do. Millie can recognize that cardiometabolic risk and reported stress, sleep disruption, or low mood often travel together, and address the whole person rather than one symptom. Renata brings the same capability to Hispanic and Latino members in culturally and linguistically tailored Spanish, in communities where diabetes and hypertension are disproportionately common and screening access is often limited. In every case, the coach uses motivational interviewing techniques to build its conversation around the goals the member is actually ready to pursue.

What the integration delivers

  • Objective plus subjective: Biometric readings and questionnaire answers are combined into a single, more accurate baseline assessment for every coach on the platform.

  • No barriers to entry: A 30-second scan on a standard smartphone — no lab, no appointment, no hardware or downloads required.

  • A more personalized coach: RONI, Millie, and Renata each tailor their coaching approach, priorities, and pacing to the member’s measured risks and stated goals.

  • Progress you can see: Repeat Hibiscus scans over time give members and their coach a tangible way to track progress alongside behavioral milestones.

“Chronilogix exists to reach people who have been left out of traditional care — people for whom cost, embarrassment or access stand between them and support. Hibiscus Health’s scan capability removes one more of those barriers. When RONI, Millie, and Renata can pair what a member tells us with what their face scan is telling us, the coaching becomes more accurate, more relevant, and ultimately more effective — whether the goal is managing diabetes and other cardiometabolic conditions, protecting mental health, or reaching a community that has too often been overlooked,” said Steven Amiel, CEO of Chronilogix.

“The people who most need screening are the ones who never get it,” said Kavi Misri, Founder and CEO of Hibiscus Health. “They are not avoiding care. They feel they don’t have risk, or they are avoiding the appointment, the needle and the time out of their day to get to a lab. A 30-second scan removes these barriers, and Chronilogix’s coaches turn that result into something a person can actually act on. Chronilogix’s shared focus on underserved populations makes this partnership especially meaningful.”

The integrated experience will be available across RONI, Millie, and Renata to members and Chronilogix partner organizations beginning in October 2026. Employers, benefits brokers, provider systems, health plans, and community organizations interested in early access can contact Chronilogix at steven@chronilogix.com.
